Attract & Engage proudly supported the re-branding and launch of Basildon Business Leaders, Basildon’s economic peer group, at an event in the heart of the borough.
With keynotes from Councillor Louise McKinlay – Deputy Leader Essex County Council and Cabinet Member for Levelling Up, Communities and Business Engagement and Jill and Richard Willis Co-Founders of Attract & Engage. The event brought together Basildon’s most influential figures, including Leonardo VP of Product and Business Compliance Chris Lines, Palmers Law Director Carey Jacobs, Rickard Lukin Director Peter Leonard and Divisional Partner at Glenny LLP Jim O’Connell.
A joint venture between Basildon Borough Council Economic Development Team and the business community, BBL will build on the strong foundation of Basildon Business Group and empower a new, wider community of entrepreneurs, directors and senior executives to achieve even more.
The name reflects the group’s focus on fostering connections between prominent business peers across the localities of the borough, to unlock access to new revenue opportunities, strengthen resilience and grow as employers.
