Future Talent 2025 – Billericay School’s Careers Programme
The Attract & Engage team continued its support of Billericay School’s Careers Programme at the school’s annual Careers Convention.
Now in its fourth year, the event has become a key moment in the Billericay School calendar.
This year’s theme ‘bright futures’ gathered over 500 students from across Years 9 to Year 13 to gain practical insights into subject choices, future career options, and relevant training pathways.
Businesses from across the borough lent their support, to connect with young talent, and contribute significantly to the futures of students. This included expo stands and interactive experiences from a diverse range of industries including engineering giant Ipeco, Horizon Construction, Hill Group, Indecon Building Ltd, Ford, Birkett Long LLP, Southend Theatres, Palmers Solicitors, Plastic Extruders manufacturing, and Rickard Luckin accountancy.
Highlights from the day included a careers pathway talk from Jill Willis Co-Founder of Attract & Engage and Enterprise Advisor to The Billericay School, Ford Motor Company, and others.
Congratulations to Headteacher Mr Berry, Careers Leader Mr Wilson and Careers Coordinator Mrs Smith, and the entire team at Billericay School for creating a careers programme that enables so many students to step confidently into their future.
