Supporting a £6m Sales Team

Context:

Zest Recycle is a leading recycling and waste management company based in Brentwood, Essex. Across a multitude of sectors, they work with companies, offering a fresh, new perspective on long-standing waste management problems.

In 2021, Zest Recycle re-branded as part of a new strategic direction for the business. Better reflecting their values, their fresh look included a new visual identity, updated messaging and a catchy slogan – all to drive engagement and growth and needed ongoing marketing to support their £6m sales team.

Challenge:

The primary challenge was the need for a holistic marketing solution that would not only maintain consistency with their refreshed brand but also enhance their overall marketing efforts and support their sales team.

They required professional marketing expertise across all levels of seniority to create and then drive their marketing plan but did not have the budget to employ a Marketing Director and Manager.

They sought a marketing partner that could take full ownership of their desired deliverables which ranged from social media content to creating engaging award entries.

Approach: 

Our first step was to become an extended member of the business, supporting the sales team, getting to the core of the business to fully understand their tone of voice, target audience and brand values.

We developed a comprehensive marketing package that covered all aspects of their marketing strategy. Our approach included:

• Blog writing: Producing high-quality, engaging SEO blog articles to drive traffic to their website.
• Graphic Design: Designing visually appealing and educational graphics for Zest Recycle and on behalf of their clients. This included bin stickers, informative posters, leaflets, brochures and more.
• Email marketing: Developing and executing effective email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing customers.
• Award entry writing: Crafting compelling award entries to showcase Zest Recycle’s achievements and innovations.
• Case Studies: Showcasing their excellent work with clients. Educating readers how possible it so to reduce landfill and increase recycling. Supporting the sales team when pitching to new clients.
• Direct mail: Creating and delivering direct mail campaigns to reach potential customers and get Zest Recycle on their radar.

Results:

Our comprehensive marketing package delivered fantastic results and successfully achieved its original objectives.
