Work is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again.
Right now it’s amazing. Not because we’re nearing our 10th birthday, even though we are. And not because we’ve just finished our most successful year ever, even though we have.
It’s because in January Attract & Engage moved into a new office, welcomed a new team member and launched a range of new business support packages designed to make smarter commercial content even more attainable for the growing businesses we work with.

Alongside the belated increase (it’s our first price shift for a couple of years), there’s one big change to our new copywriting service menu. We now list our top ten copywriting packages, and they’re tailored to a business owner’s ambition and budget.

We haven’t realigned our pricing on impulse. We’ve done it because copywriting and blogging has changed dramatically.
Content is no longer about stack-em-high-sell-em-cheap web filler to be picked up by Google’s robots – and, frankly, the (digital) world is a better place because of it.
Now Google (and other search engines) reward quality content. Blog articles have become a real content marketing asset, capable of informing, engaging, and inspiring.
But creating blog articles (as well as social media posts, web pages, case studies and emails) of value takes hard work. Hours of creative ideas generation, desk research, and telephone interviews. Not to mention editorial planning, proofing and redrafting. Our time.
If restructuring our service menu and increasing our prices means we can put in more creativity and hard work, then the end results will be positive for the businesses we support. From 2010 to today, Attract & Engage has been moving forwards. To begin with this growth was steady as founder and lead copywriter Jill Willis established her freelance writing business. More recently we’ve welcomed more retained clients, more project work and more team members. At the last count we were writing for around 30 micro and SME businesses – including JMH Technology, The Vanilla Room, XDS Solutions, Brentwood Orthodontic & Implant Centre and Oscar Fairchild Accountants – from our cheerful office in Billericay.
Today we welcome a new team member and launch a new range of business support packages, but our mission remains the same: to be the go-to copy writing agency for growing businesses across the UK. And with the passion and experience of our team brimming, there’s nothing to stop us.
