It might be because B2B PR was where my career started over 15 years ago. Or, it might be because I like nothing better than immersing myself in technical detail, and then turning it into engaging, jargon-free content. Regardless. B2B & ME = a match made in heaven.
And no client project better demonstrates this than the launch of XDS Solutions.
Having began their business from a home-office in 2014, owners Chris & Chantelle Rowe achieved rapid success. In early 2016, when they asked me to begin working with them, they’d relocated to offices, employed 10 members of staff and were primed to take on heavy-weight multinational competitors.
But, their brand and website was still homemade. They needed to, (I quote) "get serious".
As the business’ freelance Marketing Director I started by undertaking a detailed audit, before creating a marketing communications strategy designed to respond directly to the goals of the business.
The project included a complete re-brand. The creation of a new website, supported by digital content production & printed marketing materials. And, ongoing work addresses the development of an email marketing programme & social media programme, as well as attendance of industry trade shows, and management of a public relations campaign to include blogging and case study production.
