Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the town
Not a business owner was stirring, and much wine had been downed!
For Christmas day brings a chance to relax, and re-set
With the hubbub of the festive season finally at rest!
When at Essex Business Forum there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my seat to see what was the matter.
And there before me I was astounded to find
A group of small business owners stuck in a bind
They each had to update their website newsfeed.
Write email campaigns, create new brochures for sales leads.
Yet finding the time was making them blue
And having the skill was something they found impossible to do.
Away to writing room I flew like a flash,
Tore open the notebook and began writing in a dash.
With my help determining the story they should tell
They soon found their marketing materials began helping them sell.
So next year let’s get together for a New Year’s chat.
It really is as easy as that.
